The Experience

The Chef at Home service is completely flexible to your preferences, whether you’d like to help side-by-side prepare the meal with your personal chef or you’d like to walk through the door to find a fully prepared dinner waiting for you, our chefs can accommodate!

It’s also the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. Hire a private chef to make the evening really unique, whether you’re celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, family reunion or even retirement!

Our chefs

Meet Claudio and Paola, two passionate chefs who bring their love for cooking and Italian culture to the plate, in an authentic, home cooked meal prepared just for you. Both chefs grew up in the markets of Rome, among the fresh ingredients and learning to cook at professional schools as well as through family secrets. They love sharing kitchen tips, traditional cooking techniques, and family stories with their guests, adding a personal touch to make the experience truly unforgettable.

The Menu

Savour a traditional 4-course Roman meal in the comfort of your own vacation rental in the center of Rome. Start the feast with an antipasto (bruschetta, meats and cheeses, or mini quiches), followed by a classic pasta course (or rice), and then a scrumptious meat course (or fish, upon request). End the evening on a sweet note with a traditional crowd pleaser, tiramisù. The whole meal is accompanied by fine Italian wine, selected by the chef. *We can accommodate nearly all diet restrictions, so just let us know!

The Fine Print

The final menu is decided by the chef based on seasonality and availability of the ingredients, however we are happy to take requests and, of course, are able to accommodate most kinds of preferences and food allergies.

The cost per dinner depends on the number of guests, but ranges from €37-€29/person, comparable to a dinner at a restaurant. Minimum number of guests is 4.

While guests are unable to join the chef for shopping due to availability restrictions, the experience can certainly be turned into a cooking lesson!
