A Guide to Bookstores in Rome
27 June 2019

Books are one thing that seem to make it on everyone’s vacation list. So whether you’re a book worm looking to get your hands on your next literary escape, or you’d like to bring a beautiful coffee table book home with you, we’ve put together a list of our favorite bookstores in Rome.

The Almost Corner book store located in Trastevere has a large variety of fiction and non fiction books in English. If you’re looking for the poolside thriller or bedside romance novel, here’s the place to check it out. In true Roman style, the store is a bit rough around the edges with the books well organized by genre but expect to spend some time looking for what you need.

If you’re on the hunt for a gift for someone, there’s something for everyone at Chez Dede. Besides books, you can peruse bespoke bags and scarves, candles, home furnishings and knick knacks.
