This year Easter Sunday falls on April 1, 2018.
And as you might expect Rome is a busy place during this time, not only for religious reasons but also because it marks the beginning of spring festivities that can take place outside. The weather is warmer in April so terraces start to open, more life returns to the piazzas and streets fill back up. It’s a lovely time to visit Rome and experience special cultural and gastronomic events around the city.
