Visiting Rome right after the holidays? In Rome, the Feast of the Epiphany, or La Befana, as it’s locally known was traditionally celebrated more than Christmas. The evening of January 5th, children would put out their shoes for St. Nicholas to leave them candy and gifts for them to find in the morning. Read our post on La Befana in Rome to learn more about this holiday and what’s all going on in Rome!

Hi
Myself and my hubby are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this summer and what we both want the most is a trip to Rome with our teenage boys.
We need accommodation for 27 sept – 1 Oct. we are on a budget and really need to do this as cheap as poss. We would love to be easy walking to termini station and all the main sites as we will be on foot. Would love a balcony or outside space if poss and the lads will NOT share a double bed (17 and 19! Not a chance).. I’ve been scouring the internet and have seen a couple of nice places we like but through the sites they bump prices up would like to go direct if poss.
Can you help us?
