Just steps away from the Colosseum, the Roman and Trajan Forums, and Quirinale, tucked away in a small street just off of Piazza della Madonna dei Monti on the second floor of a traditional 19th century palazzo, you’ll find the newest apartment in our collection: Boschetto.
A night in Boschetto, the newest apartment to join the collection at ROMAC, will leave you with sweet dreams of your Rome vacation. Boschetto (pronounced Bo-sket-to) features two bedrooms, a spacious living room with sofa bed, a full kitchen (without an oven) and a bathroom dressed in Travertine. The apartment offers a tranquil and comfortable getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Eternal City with ample sunlight through magnificent tall, arched windows in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom.
Like all of our apartments, Boschetto is loaded with all the comforts you’ll need for a pleasant stay: air-conditioning in the living room and bedrooms, WiFi internet, washing machine, dishwasher, and everything for your cooking and dining needs.
We designed the apartment in a vintage, modern scandinavian style, using blocks of bold colors to contrast natural wood and terra cotta finishes. Note the suspended writing desk against a yellow accent wall; the blue and grey-tone geometric rug with poufs covered in worked leather, and simple green seat cushions adorn white thonet-style chairs around a solid, reclaimed wood table. Lamps and pendants with clean, modern lines provide light to functional areas in the apartment, and adjustable reading lights next to the bed allow you to finish your novel before getting a good night’s sleep.

From her Pools series, Blanca Guerrero’s Rome-inspired modern art will offer a playful contrast to the works you’ll see as your tour the city.
The apartment also features original artwork from Spanish-born artist, Blanca Guerrero, who currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. While all three works were commissioned for the apartment, she chose to add 2 works to her 544 series, and a third singular piece to her Pools series. The unframed paintings don’t overpower the space with too much commotion but rather harmonize the old and new textures and colors through a refinement in detail, which you’ll notice upon close examination.
Additionally the apartment features beautiful accent cushions by another New York based artist, Kate Rockett, whose 2-dimensional ink drawings of women bring vitality and a touch of chic to the sofa and beds. If you love the designs as much as we do, you can purchase your own on her Society6 mini site: society6.com/fillefantome)
Take a step outside the apartment and you’re immediately in the heart of the center of Rome’s trendiest area, the Monti neighborhood. Full of small boutiques and trendy new restaurants, the area is also known for it’s historic trattorie serving traditional Roman food. In the evening take a glass of wine or prosecco, and enjoy the beautiful, bustling piazza. At night take a walk and eat dinner al fresco through the lively streets and take in the cultural street experience in Rome, which sadly only exists in a few other parts of Rome today.
We’re excited to hear what our guests think about our newest apartment! If you’re planning a trip to Rome and looking for a centrally located, comfortable place to stay, you know where to book!
