Visiting the Colosseum: Hours and Ticketing Information
16 July 2014

Let me give you more information for your visit to the Colosseum. The Colosseum is the symbol of our beautiful city and our pride, guarding the history of Rome for thousands of years.

Being one of the most visited monuments in the world, I strongly suggest that you plan a  visit and buy your tickets in advance to avoid long waiting times. For safety reasons the Coliseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once.

The guided tours are provided in English, French, and Spanish.

If you prefer to visit without a guided tour you can also rent an audio guide for 5.50€. The audio guides are available in Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Latin, Portuguese, and the LIS and ASL sign languages.
